The Gophers home opener is less than half a month away, and they’re celebrating by holding a flash sale. Starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday and ending at the same time on Friday, fans will have an opportunity to buy tickets for only $10.
The team hopes the generous price they are offering will bring an attendance increase to the TCF Bank Stadium in the following season. Their first match will be versus South Dakota State, on the 29th of August.
Fans will have the option of buying the tickets in-person at the State Fair during the sale period. All they’ll need to do is bring the money and visit the University of Minnesota booth. Tickets will, of course, also be available online for those who prefer to stay at home.
The Gophers are planning even more discounts, though, as they announced they’ll sell the most flexible ticket ever. The ticket will allow fans to attend all seven Golden Gophers games for the price of $200, equaling about $28.5 per game.
